Judge Williamson's Achievements
Judge Holly Williamson has been a leader in the judiciary for 15 years as your Justice of the Peace, she works tirelessly to create positive reforms in the justice system, innovate new court processes, and help all in our community have access justice.
- Judge Williamson has been a statewide leader on Judicial Education and best practices. She is the former Chair of Judicial Education for Justices of the Peace and volunteer faculty and speaker all across the State of Texas on numerous topics for the last 15 years. She was named Judge of the Year in 2018 by JPCA for her work in judicial education and truancy.
- Judge Williamson is elected statewide and serves as President Elect of Justice of the Peace and Constables Association, JPCA has been providing judicial education to the Justices of the Peace in Texas since 1958. JPCA is the largest association of elected officials in the State of Texas.
- Judge Williamson was appointed by Governor Gregg Abbott to serve on the Texas County and District Retirement System Board of Trustees,the board oversees a retirement system for employees and retirees of more than 780 counties and districts, including hospital districts, water districts, emergency services districts and others.
- Judge Williamson was elected to membership in the Fellows of the State Bar Foundation. Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.
- Judge Williamson serves as the representative for JPs statewide on the Texas Association of Counties, Board of Directors.
